The Center is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Director, a qualified Child Psychologist and a Family Counselor, who personally tends to the administration of the Center and the running of both the therapy departments and the educational programs. The Director is responsible for setting the curriculum and programs, as well as organizing the daily schedules in line with the latest internationally approved special education standards and guidelines. The Director is accountable to the Board of Governors.

A Message from the Director

Dear friends,

It has been a busy time for everyone at Dubai Center for Special Needs. Each day has brought with it more challenges, with our efforts rewarded by the exciting progress of our students and ever-increasing support from the community.

Our students and staff arrive each day charged, working harder and harder to help our students reach the individual goals set out for them. We are pleased to see the progress that the students make because of the concerted efforts of so many.

One of the Center’s main goals is to help each student reach his/her utmost potential for independence and integration into society. It is indeed heart-warming and satisfying to see students, who once walked in the Center as tiny tots, graduate, get employed, and even marry and have children of their own.

With each passing day, we are pleased to see a steady increase in public awareness and support for our efforts. There are so many children and young adults with special needs who need the specialized services that we offer. The assistance we receive from so many generous companies and individuals across the country certainly goes a long way to help ensure that our valuable efforts will continue.

Thanks to our students who have their own special ways of smiling, making every challenge easier for us. And, thanks to the many people who have come together to support us in our mission to light the path towards a brighter future.
